<p>Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description</p> <p>As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing parts, drawings, and large assemblies within SolidWorks. You will perform engineering analyses and simulations, and provide support to the production floor for design changes or process improvements. Additionally, you will collaborate with the testing department to develop and test building processes and utilize ERP systems for all data management related to products.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks. </li><li>Perform engineering analyses and simulations. </li><li>Provide support to the production floor for design changes or process improvements. </li><li>Collaborate with the testing department to develop and test building processes. </li><li>Utilize ERP systems for product data management. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD. </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree. </li><li>Knowledge of machine building, welding, or fabrication methods. </li><li>Experience with metals and fabricated or welded machine parts. </li><li>Understanding of GD&T and electromechanical design. </li><li>3+ years of experience in a related field; Co-ops and internships may be considered. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with fabrication and weldment processes. </li><li>Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various departments. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment consists predominantly of office settings, with significant collaboration with the production floor during design changes or testing phases. The team values a history of contractors becoming direct employees, with a focus on innovative military products like night vision and thermal vision equipment. The role offers a dynamic and collaborative work culture with an emphasis on long-term tenure.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.50/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
