<p>general statement of functions:</p> <p>The Food Services Worker is responsible for performing routine kitchen duties which includes: preparation, service, and cleaning of food using required health and safety regulations.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:</p> <p>? Previous food preparation experience in a psychiatric healthcare environment or related</p> <p>field is preferred.</p> <p>? Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and reach.</p> <p>? Must be organized, and detail oriented.</p> <p>? Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels</p> <p>of management and associates while building strong relationships.</p> <p>? Must have the ability to problem solve, meet deadlines and follow through on work</p> <p>assignments in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>? The ability to work overtime and/or additional days on special projects as needed.</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>? Prepare, service, and clean food according to established guidelines.</p> <p>? May assist Cook in the preparation of food which include: baking items and preparing various</p> <p>beverages.</p> <p>? Operate food preparation machinery which may include: peeling, shredding, slicing, straining,</p> <p>and mixing of various foods.</p> <p>? Assist in the transport of dishes, utensils, and food to in-patient dining room, cafeteria, and other</p> <p>assigned areas.</p> <p>? Work with dishwashing equipment, washes and sterilizes dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and</p> <p>other related food containers.</p> <p>? Collect and disposes of garbage according to guidelines.</p> <p>? Clean and washes kitchen equipment, kitchen work area, floors, food storage area, and washes walls,</p> <p>mops floors etc.</p> <p>? May assist in receiving and storing warehouse deliveries.</p> <p>? Practice confidentiality in all employee, client, and management related matters.</p> <p>? Assist in preserving Kedren's mission, goals, and objectives; and help management in establishing</p> <p>its internal service delivery goals and objectives that are consistent with the organization's public</p> <p>service mission statement.</p> <p>? Participate in the fundraising activities of Kedren.</p> <p>? Assist in other duties and special projects as assigned.</p>
