<p>East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Bilingual Family Visitor for our Healthy Families America (HFA) Program to join our dedicated, supportive Healthy Families Team in Riverside, RI. The Healthy Families of America program is designed for to assist parents facing challenges. Families are enrolled prenatally or within three months of birth.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide home visiting services that focus on health, child development, parenting, social services, and other outcomes established by the program. </li><li>Establish trusting/non-judgmental relationships with consumers while setting appropriate boundaries. </li><li>Provide outreach/recruitment for program, assist supervisor with eligibility assessment, and completion of assessment tools. </li><li>Complete an array of required assessment tools </li><li>Research and secure internal as well as external resources and/or services for each consumer focused on their individual needs. </li><li>Communicate and coordinate with other EBCAP programs, especially other EBCAP home visiting, health and family-focused services such as, but not limited to: Youth Centers, Head Start, Health Equity Zone (HEZ), WIC, Behavioral Health, Dental, Health Center, etc. to maximize services and avoid duplication. </li><li>Complete all required documentation within established EBCAP and RIDOH timeframes. </li><li>Review and familiarize self and others with the tenants of all home visiting programs available in the state, with special focus on Healthy Families America model through the RIDOH, as well as all grant requirements. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>The position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in a Human Services field or a minimum of three years experience in the field. </li><li>Fluent in Spanish/English required. </li><li>Previous experience working with children and families required. </li><li>The ideal candidate must have knowledge of community resources and enjoy working with children and families. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Package:</p> <p>EBCAP provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package for full-time employees (30-40 hours/week) including:</p> <ul> <li>Heavily subsidized medical and dental insurance plans (BCBSRI) </li><li>Supplemental vision insurance </li><li>Voluntary medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts </li><li>403(b) retirement plan with up to 3% company match </li><li>Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability </li><li>Generous paid time off (vacation, holidays, personal days, sick time) </li><li>Mileage reimbursement </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Opportunities for center-paid training and CEUs </li><li>Employee assistance program </li></ul> <p>We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference in our community.</p>
