<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <ul> <li> <p>Full-time Nights /0.6 FTE/ 36 hours per week</p> </li><li> <p>Physical Location/Address of Clinic: IU Health West, 4th floor, 1111 N Ronald Reagan Pkwy</p> </li><li> <p>Hours: 7:00 pm - 7:30am/night shift</p> </li><li> <p>Weekends and Holidays required: Every third weekend rotation, and there is a holiday schedule that rotates each year.</p> </li><li> <p>What are some daily tasks required for this position:</p> </li><li> <p>Medication administration</p> </li><li> <p>Cerner documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Open communication with RN and PCA</p> </li></ul> <p>Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement. Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform.</p> <ul> <li>Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program. </li><li>Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license. </li><li>Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. </li><li>Successful completion of orientation required. </li><li>1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. </li></ul>
