<p>Are you diligent and passionate about maintaining high standards? We're looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to take a hands-on role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. In this role, you will perform well inspections, conduct audits, troubleshoot quality issues, and help define procedures that drive continuous improvement. You'll report directly to the Quality Manager and collaborate closely with other leaders across the organization. If you're someone who takes initiative to solve problems, focuses on details, and is dedicated to excellence, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</p> <ul> <li>Perform inspection and testing on receiving parts </li><li>Perform in-process inspection audits in the manufacturing area </li><li>Generate nonconformance reports for parts that fail inspection </li><li>Work with Assembly Operators and Manufacturing Engineers to affirm process controls </li><li>Prepare, control, and maintain manufacturing and inspection documentation </li><li>Prepare customer document packages </li><li>Support the investigation of claims and root cause analysis, including, execution of corrective actions </li><li>Assist the Quality Manager in the training of other employees </li><li>Calibrate production and inspection gauges and maintain calibration record </li><li>Perform non-destructive testing on castings and welded fabrications </li><li>Maintain a 5S work environment </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>You show tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; is exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You Actively seeks input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You are able to adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You always keep the end in sight and put in extra effort to meet deadlines. You have an in-depth understanding of how businesses work and make money.</p> <p>For This Role, You Will Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent experience </li><li>Three to five years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Hands on experience with engineering drawings and specifications </li><li>Ability to read and interpret diagrams and Bill of Materials (BOMs) </li><li>Familiarity with 5S methodology </li><li>Solid understanding and use of calibrated measuring devices (Calipers, Micrometers and Durometers) </li><li>Working knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001-2015 </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and documentation/procedural skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment with fellow inspectors and other employees. </li><li>Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe </li></ul> <p>Physical Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Stand up to eight hours per day </li><li>Ability to work in a seated or standing position </li></ul> <p>Our Culture & Commitment to You:</p> <p>At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
