<p>Provide support to the EAT programs and tool crib areas as a member of the Work-Study program.</p> <p>Now Accepting Applications for the Winter 2026 Semester.</p> <p>All applicants MUST meet the following criteria or will be marked 'disqualified':</p> <ul> <li>a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours. </li><li>currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid - If you have not received an award or are not sure, fill out and submit this form and contact finaid@macomb.edu with questions.   </li><li>Monitor facility operations for the Manager of Facilities & Operations, in her/his absence, to ensure that the facility is operated in a manner that is consistent with the policies and procedures adopted by the College for the overall operation. </li><li>Enforces health, safety and fire regulations within the facility. </li><li>May be required to open/close the facility. </li><li>Check in and check out tools and equipment in EAT labs. </li><li>Provide proper security for the facility, tools, and equipment. </li><li>Inform supervisor and/or instructor of students not following safety procedures. </li><li>Answer telephone, transfer calls and/or take messages. </li><li>Run errands on campus. </li><li>Assist faculty, staff, and students within the EAT facility(s). </li><li>Maintain all department records electronically, including inventory of lab supplies, and initiate replacement supply orders. </li><li>Perform daily routine shop and equipment cleaning and rubbish removal. </li><li>Perform routine shop and equipment cleaning. </li><li>Monitor equipment condition and notify supervisor of required repairs. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Related work experience or demonstrated ability to perform duties of the position. Some education required such as relevant course work and/or formal training. Use of computers and advanced technical support may be required.</p>
