<p>MUST BE PERMANENT IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCUREMENT ANALYST CIVIL SERVICE TITLE WITHIN A NYC AGENCY</p> <p>The mission of the New York City Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in New York City by working in partnership with the community to enforce the law, preserve peace, protect the people, reduce fear, and maintain order. The New York City Police Department strives to foster a safe and fair city through the strategic deployment of resources, focusing on both crime prevention and addressing quality-of-life concerns while building lasting community relationships.</p> <p>The School Safety Division is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the 1.1 million school children, faculty and visitors in over 1800 schools in approximately 1400 Department of Education facilities citywide.</p> <p>The School Safety Division is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Administrative Procurement Analyst. However, all candidates must have the eighteen months of administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience described in "1" above.</p> </li></ol> <p>Possession of an acceptable professional procurement certification may be substituted for up to one year of the experience described in "1" above.
