<p>Accounting Coordinator</p> <p>Business Unit: The Peninsula New York</p> <p>Location: New York</p> <p>The Accounting Coordinator will work in collaboration with the accounting team and be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, ranging from performing accounting duties and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable/receivable transactions.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>As a team player you will need to communicate important information to your co-workers on a regular basis in a very fast-paced environment. </li><li>Review, sort and match and process check requests. </li><li>Set invoices up for payment. </li><li>Reconciliation of payments. </li><li>Resolve invoice discrepancies. </li><li>Vendor file maintenance. </li><li>Contracts and filing. </li><li>Manage outside storage arrangements. </li><li>Guest requests. </li><li>Other Ad-Hoc tasks </li></ul> <p>General Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of relevant computer applications. </li><li>Proficient in data entry and management. </li><li>Experience working in a hotel environment is a plus. </li><li>Outstanding organizational skills </li><li>Prioritizing tasks, good judgement, and problem solving-skills. </li><li>Acute attention to details and information management skills. </li><li>Integrity matching a high level of discretion. </li><li>Information management skills. </li></ul> <p>We are delighted to receive your resume for further consideration.
