Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.</p> <p>Tasks and Qualifications:</p> <p>What You Do In This Role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply PLC code for semi-complex systems using standard practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.</p> </li><li> <p>Propose ideas aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer happiness.</p> </li><li> <p>Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site.</p> </li><li> <p>Interact directly with the customer on site.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Are Looking For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Schneider Unity, or Siemens TIA Portal preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated working understanding of design, layout, and use of current networks such as Profibus, ASi, and Ethernet.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in writing descriptions of operations and developments of controls based physical layouts is encouraged.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Current experience with the rigors of on-site startup/commissioning.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with material handling systems is helpful.</p> </li><li> <p>4-8 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above.</p> </li><li> <p>Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree, where applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel can range anywhere from 25% - 40% depending on the project and is typically on weekends and possibly over some holidays.</p> </li><li> <p>4-year degree or equivalent in a related field.</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-DH1</p> <p>#inpost</p>
