Medical, dental, vision, and 401k, among other benefits are available without a waiting period and offered at a low cost to you.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Red Lion Team is seeking aProduction Planner IIonFirst (1st) shift.</p> <p>Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs tasks and duties associated with product manufacture planning, including producing schedules, materials lists, and production plans </li><li>Helps to analyze production specifications to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and personnel requirements </li><li>Ensures material flow and production activity are aligned </li><li>Prepares work orders </li><li>Recommends schedule changes resulting from material or labor shortages, design changes, or backlogs when necessary </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Busines Administration/Supply Chain Management </li><li>2-4 years' of relevant experience </li><li>OR equivalent combination of relevant eduication and/or experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Busines Administration/Supply Chain Management </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analytical thinking skills. </li><li>Planning skills. </li><li>Oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Leadership skills. </li><li>Proficient in MS Office </li><li>Physical Demands: </li><li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. </li><li>Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. </li><li>Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>No or very little travel likely </li></ul> <p>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
