<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Coordinates the Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship program under the general supervision of the Program Director and/or Division Manager, ensuring compliance with departmental and GME requirements. Manages the full program cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, database maintenance, and annual reporting. Plans and organizes educational and social activities within program priorities and resources. Serves as a key liaison between faculty, fellows, and external partners to support effective communication and smooth program operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborates with program leadership to coordinate and support all aspects of the GME training program, including evaluating and improving administrative procedures. </li><li>Creates, updates, and distributes educational materials and curriculum. </li><li>Manages candidate selection, interview scheduling, and follow-up; serves as a resource for candidates, including travel coordination as needed. </li><li>Oversees onboarding, ensuring timely completion of licensing, visa, credentialing, and moonlighting requirements. </li><li>Develops and coordinates annual orientation, including speaker selection, scheduling, venues, and setup of new hire requirements (IDs, access, training). </li><li>Collects and maintains records and data for residents, fellows, faculty, and alumni; manages GME databases to ensure compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements. </li><li>Designs and coordinates educational sessions, conferences, and events; manages related materials, evaluations, and attendance tracking. </li><li>Serves as a resource and liaison for trainees, communicating policies, procedures, and schedules; provides administrative support and escalates issues as needed. </li><li>Provides administrative support to the department as directed. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>2 years' administrative work experience; 1 year in GME preferred </li><li>Familiarity with the annual hospital and Graduate Medical Education recruitment and education cycle including training program(s)/hospital and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Proficiency with medical education computer applications such as NRMP, ERAS and New Innovations. </li><li>Fluency with Microsoft Office applications is required. </li><li>Ability to work independently to anticipate program needs based on a yearly cycle. </li><li>Analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. </li><li>Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to details. </li><li>Ability to understand, interpret and apply applicable regulatory requirements and hospital policies to ensure programmatic compliance with graduate medical education program training requirements. </li></ul> <p>Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
