<p>Basic qualifications are:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years old </li><li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the US </li><li>One year of manufacturing experience required </li><li>One (1) to three (3) years' experience operating CNC or manual production Machines is required </li><li>Available to work any 2nd Shift (M-F 3pm to 11pm CST), weekends and overtime as required </li><li>Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs </li><li>Willing to adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including all PPE requirements </li><li>Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check </li></ul> <p>Essential job functions are:</p> <ul> <li>Review work orders and use material handling equipment, overhead crane or fork lift to get material. </li><li>Verify material to order and enter into computer </li><li>Instrumentally start machine and set up line for production </li><li>Charge material through machine with hand controls </li><li>Maintain production and quality standards by measuring and verifying before during and after processing </li><li>Use micrometers or calipers to check and record gauge width, hardness, burr and surface condition </li><li>Document machine mechanical problems </li><li>Understand and document material defects, data entry and reconcile production </li><li>Adjust machine setup to correct defects as needed throughout process </li><li>Remove scrap from machine and empty hopper as needed </li><li></li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>May be required to stand for long periods of time </li><li>May involve some repetitive motions </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds </li><li>May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers </li><li>Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions </li><li>Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division </li><li>Computer skills, data entry, good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Perform basic visual quality inspections on products </li><li>Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties </li><li>Must be certified or become certified in operation of forklifts and overhead cranes </li></ul> <p>We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including 401(k) with some employer match, medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, basic life insurance, paid vacation and holiday package.</p> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
