<p>'); document.write('Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>INDIAN CAPITAL TECHNOLOGY CENTER</p> <p>DISTRICT NO. 4</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>POSITION:</p> <p>Director of Business and Industry Services and Adult Career Development</p> <p>RESPONSIBLE TO:</p> <p>Assistant Superintendent</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Masters Degree</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Minimum 3 years of successful experience working with Business and Industry clients. Vocational Education experience preferred.</p> <p>CERTIFICATION:</p> <p>B.I.S.C.P. certification, ODCTE Oklahoma Department of Education standard teaching certificate, in Administration preferred.</p> <p>SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate administrative and organizational skills, team building skills and communication skill </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge and ability to use community resources. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must have excellent professional working relationship with State Department of Career Tech. </li></ul> <p>LENGTH OF CONTRACT:</p> <p>12 months (MA12 Salary Schedule)</p> <p>PERSONNEL CLASSIFICATION:</p> <p>Non-Certified</p> <p>PRIMARY FUNCTION</p> <ul> <li>Work with all Business and Industry clients. </li><li>Provide training and assistance to new or expanding industries through T.I.P. </li><li>Provide training for all existing companies by implementing industry specific programs. </li><li>Be a collaborative partner for all ICTC training programs. </li></ul> <p>DEPENDABILITY:</p> <ul> <li>Punctual and regular attendance following a designated work schedule. </li><li>Must be able to work extended hours and additional days/ evenings as required by position responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL/MENTAL STANDARDS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, comprehend, and evaluate varied documents. </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time and to move around the office area </li><li>Requires stooping, bending and carrying of such articles as books, manuals, files, and job-related items </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to a four-foot level </li><li>Multitasking skills will be needed. </li></ul> <p>EMOTIONAL EFFORT:</p> <ul> <li>Moderate to extreme. </li><li>Frequent deadlines requiring concentrated effort and overtime work. </li><li>Must be a self-starter </li><li>Must have ability to prioritize time, assignments, and projects while handling a high volume of customer service and needs </li><li>Able to handle high stress situations at peak periods </li><li>Frequent work during late afternoon and evenings </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Work effectively with all economic development organizations in our district. Conduct regular meetings. </li><li>Grow the division in areas benchmarked for both BIS and ACD: Courses, Clock Hours, Contact Hours, Enrollments </li><li>Supervise the ACD District Administrator </li><li>Maintain confidentiality with all clients. </li><li>Schedule and deliver training as needed to all clients in the district. </li><li>Utilize "Professional Learning Communities". </li><li>Maintain updated budget. </li><li>Communicate effectively with the Superintendent. </li><li>Conduct evaluations of all BIS and ACD team members. </li><li>Hire competent personnel. </li><li>Maintain accurate, current, individual records and referrals. </li><li>Work effectively with business and industry clients. </li><li>Program leader at all district sites for Adult Career Development (ACD) courses and reports. </li><li>Work with Campus Directors in the development and implementation of safety training programs for all students. </li><li>Prepare reports as required by the local campus, district, and the Oklahoma Department of Career & Technology Education. </li><li>It is expected for employee to be on time each workday as this is essential to the employee\'s job. </li><li>Other jobs/tasks as assigned, described and/or requested by the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent. </li></ul> <p>RELATIONSHIPS</p> <p>INTERNAL:</p> <p>Building a good harmonious rapport and work cooperatively with all district personnel while carrying out the duties, responsibilities and objectives of the job.</p> <p>EXTERNAL:</p> <p>Assist and communicate with all vendors, Oklahoma State Department of Career and Technology Education and other state agencies in a friendly and sociable manner.</p> <p>OTHER:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain professional competence through participation in educational and civic activities. </li><li>Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as directed by the appropriate administrator. </li></ul> <p>"Indian Capital Technology Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex/gender, age, disability, marital or veterans status."</p>
