We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.</p> <p>Part time CSR/TECH Position</p> <ul> <li> <p>Appointments-assisting the Doctors</p> </li><li> <p>Take patient histories from clients for appointments</p> </li><li> <p>Technician appointments such as nail trims</p> </li><li> <p>Performing blood draws</p> </li><li> <p>Collecting urine samples</p> </li><li> <p>Filling prescribed medications</p> </li><li> <p>Keeping cages clean and sanitized</p> </li><li> <p>Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Communicating with clients via phone and in-person</p> </li><li> <p>Restraining animals</p> </li><li> <p>Executing treatment orders</p> </li><li> <p>Clean exam rooms, counters, floors, kitchen, treatment, vacuum, empty trash as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Canine and Feline vaccine knowledge and schedule</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that clients and pets feel welcome and comfortable</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate excellent relations with clients/pets in waiting and/or exam rooms</p> </li><li> <p>Keep clients informed of expected delays and wait times</p> </li><li> <p>Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares patient files and charts</p> </li><li> <p>Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records</p> </li><li> <p>Answers client's inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions</p> </li><li> <p>Handles invoices and payment transactions</p> </li><li> <p>Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain appointment schedule, set appointments with complete information, monitor schedule for accuracy, confirmation of appointments, follow-up on missed appointments, and input of new client data into appointment schedule program</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accuracy with cash drawer, credit card-scratch pay and CareCredit transactions</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility in working hours is required to ensure that the job is done properly</p> </li><li> <p>Dependable attendance is required</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain the cleanliness of the front office area, ensuring all proper supplies are stocked adequately; follow daily task checklist</p> </li><li> <p>Follow hospital cleaning checklists</p> </li><li> <p>This position requires the ability to sit, walk, squat, bend, stand, reach, life and type</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required</p> </li><li> <p>Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people</p> </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>We're passionate about helping you reach your greatest pet-ential - both at work and at home.
