<p>Overview</p> <ul> <li>Stable and growing organization </li><li>Competitive weekly pay </li><li>Professional, positive and people-centered work environment </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc. </li><li>Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal days </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The reponsibility of the Interline Accounting Analyst is to manage and reduce the days of sales outstanding by using collection techniques on Interline receivables.</p> <p>Principal Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Review aging for each carrier </li><li>Manage returned mail </li><li>Call Interline carriers to collect on delinquent bills </li><li>Correct billing rates from the Outbound Collect Queue before invoicing customers </li><li>Review and correct invoices as appropriate </li><li>Send supporting documents to customers when corrections are necessary </li><li>Provide quality customer service in a timely manner for all internal and external customers </li><li>Manage Audit Correction reports from partners by updating terms, discounts, accessorials </li><li>Respond to emails from Partners on terms, rates, reconsignments, returns and accessorials in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Process 999 Refunds </li><li>Manage the Auditing Queue </li><li>Effectively handle special assignments as directed </li><li>Ability to assist with the Partnership Accounting team job duties as needed </li><li>Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar or 3+ years of related, professional experience </li><li>Strong organization skills </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Knowledge of state and federal tax form processes </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication </li><li>Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong teamwork, initiative, and customer service skills </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Stable and growing organization </li><li>Competitive weekly pay </li><li>Professional, positive and people-centered work environment </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc. </li><li>Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal days </li></ul>
