<p>If you're wired for hands-on work and take pride in doing the job right, SPATCO is looking for a skilled and reliable Service Electrician to join our team-someone who can read blueprints, install and maintain electrical systems (including signage lighting), and use everything from conduit benders to voltmeters to keep things running safely and smoothly.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <ul> <li>Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures. Electrical petroleum experience a plus. </li><li>Will be using hand tools and power tools. </li><li>Trouble-shoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using the appropriate testing equipment to find and correct the failure. </li><li>Use of ohm meter, voltmeter, amp probe and megger are required </li><li>Install conduits, Run MC cable, pull wire and make final connections to circuit breakers. </li><li>Inspect electrical system and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Verify proper operation of the electrical system. </li><li>Advise management, customers and fellow workmen when hazards are present and when electrical systems are safe to operate. </li><li>Assist estimator with material take-off, material cost and labor allowances. </li><li>Receive work orders from company tablet and fill out job work orders thru electronic means tablet. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED a plus but not required </li><li>7 years of experience as an electrician; 5 out of the 7 years must be commercial work. </li><li>At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience </li><li>Solid understanding of electrical standards and codes and NEC 70 </li><li>Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening </li><li>Willingness to work overtime and be on call as needed </li><li>Strong communication skills and detail-oriented mindset </li><li>Capable of lifting 75-100 lbs. and working in various weather conditions </li><li>Ability to manage time effectively under pressure and collaborate well with others. </li><li>Able to work at heights. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Paid holidays </li><li>Paid vacation and sick time, up to four weeks' vacation with tenure </li><li>401K match </li><li>Health, Dental, Vision Insurance as well as supplemental coverages offered </li><li>Company-paid Life Insurance </li></ul>
