<p>We respectfully request that 3rd parties refrain from contacting us regarding this posting.</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>LABUR is partnering with a client in search of an experienced Middle Office Technical Consultant to support and enhance Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), a core middle-office platform within a Managed Accounts environment. This consultant will take a hands-on role in day-to-day platform support, upgrades, and optimization, working directly with business users, operations teams, and technology partners to ensure system stability, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for the Advent APX platform within a Managed Accounts environment. </li><li>Lead and support APX upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, including testing and post-deployment validation. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve data, reporting, and performance issues across portfolio accounting and reporting workflows. </li><li>Support APX data integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., custodians, performance, reporting, or data warehouses). </li><li>Assist with custom report development and enhancements, including performance and client reporting. </li><li>Partner with operations and business users to gather requirements and translate them into APX configuration or technical solutions. </li><li>Document system configurations, enhancements, and operational procedures. </li><li>Coordinate with SS&C / Advent support as needed to resolve complex platform issues. </li><li>Contribute to platform optimization initiatives and best practices to improve reliability and efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) in a production environment. </li><li>Strong understanding of separately managed accounts. </li><li>Experience supporting middle-office systems within asset management, wealth management, or managed accounts businesses. </li><li>Proven experience with APX upgrades, implementations, or major enhancements. </li><li>Working knowledge of APX data structures, reporting, and reconciliation processes. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a consulting role. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non?technical stakeholders. </li><li>Experience integrating APX with other SS&C / Advent or third-party investment platforms. </li><li>Prior consulting experience supporting financial services or investment management clients. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>$65 - $80 per hour - Dependent on fit and experience.</p>
