Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN. </li><li>Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients. </li><li>Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. </li><li>Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Eighteen (18) years of age</p> <p>High School diploma or GED equivalent</p> <p>Basic CNA Course preferred</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Previous healthcare experience preferred</p> <p>License(s)/Certification(s):</p> <p>Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.</p> <p>Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <p>Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.</p> <p>Multiculture sensitivity.</p> <p>Microsoft Office - basic computer skills.</p> <p>Customer/patient focused.</p> <p>Other:</p> <p>Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.</p>
