<p>Shift: 1st, 8am - 4:30pm M-F</p> <p>Pay: $19/hr.</p> <p>Benefits: Yes, full benefits after 60 days!</p> <p>What to expect:</p> <ul> <li>Moves semi-trailers around into the correct door with a terminal tractor. </li><li>Safely loads and unloads trucks using a powered industrial truck. </li><li>Performs shipping verifications. </li><li>Performs all duties and responsibilities of the order picker role, (fills customer orders and ensures that the quality of the orders meet company standards). </li><li>Trains new hires or new departmental transfers. </li><li>Communicates any discrepancies, product, and safety issues with Manager. </li><li>Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operates a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years old. </li><li>High School Diploma and GED </li><li>Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements. </li><li>Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment. </li><li>Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights. </li><li>Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills. </li><li>Ability to use a personal computer to perform detailed inquires, update information and print reports daily. </li><li>Visually inspect items for defects prior to pulling the item.Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions </li><li>Ability to use tape guns, make boxes, lift pallets, stack boxes, etc </li><li>Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment. </li><li>Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment and terminal tractor. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust. </li><li>100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp. </li><li>80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception. </li><li>50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment. </li><li>10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting. </li><li>Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance. </li><li>Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance. </li><li>Ability to climb ladders (up to 15'). </li></ul> <p>What YOU get:</p> <p>We offer competitive wages, shift premiums, and benefits.
