The staff registered nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act, Title 22, and Title 16. The RN coordinates and provides care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>6 Months Nursing - Acute Care Preferred</p> </li><li> <p>1000 hours Nursing - Medical/Surgical Must be Obtained within last 2 years - Non-core Requirement</p> </li></ul> <p>Certifications/Licensures:</p> <ul> <li> <p>RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Registered Nursing - Required</p> </li><li> <p>BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required</p> </li><li> <p>OCBC ONS_ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate - ONS Oncology Nursing Society - CORE - Required</p> </li><li> <p>OCBC ONS_ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate - ONS Oncology Nursing Society- NON-CORE - Required within 18 months of hire date or transfer date</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <p>Non-Core:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be competent to care for oncology and palliative care patients within 3 months.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be competent to care for patients with oncologic emergencies within 12 months.</p> </li><li> <p>Must meet clinical core qualifications within 12 months.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>12.0 - 07:00 - 20:00 No Waive (United States of America)</p> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$77.04 - $104.97</p> <p>Hourly</p> <p>Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.</p> <p>Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.</p> <p>Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
