They are developing front-end technology platforms that integrate multiple middleware and market clearing systems. This role is for a Java Developer based in NYC with experience in OTC derivatives front-end technologies and derivative trade clearing systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and contribute to the development of a large, complex OTC Client Clearing project involving integration with multiple clearing houses (CCPs) and middleware platforms. </li><li>Develop and deliver major components of critical transactional systems that support complex clearing and post-clearing lifecycle event workflows. </li><li>Work on systems that support diverse workflows and business rules using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Sybase/DB2, and MQ Series. </li></ul> <p>Eligibility Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Java, Unix/Linux, Perl, XML, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL. </li><li>Experience building message-based systems using messaging products such as IBM MQ and TIBCO. </li><li>Familiarity with C# and Sybase/DB2. </li><li>Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and related front-end technologies. </li><li>Ability to coordinate across teams and liaise with users. </li><li>Experience with derivative trade clearing systems such as MarkitSERV, VCON, and ICE Link. </li><li>3-5 years of relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>In the US, the target base salary for this role is $120,000-$135,000 along with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
