<p>Alta Dena North - Order Picker/Liner Puller</p> <p>#35644</p> <p>Location: City of Industry, CA</p> <p>Company: Alta Dena Dairy</p> <p>Category: Manufacturing</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY :</p> <p>The position consists of, but is not limited to, 1) receiving, storing and rotating products in milk cases; and 2) accurate and efficiently filling orders.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :</p> <ul> <li>Pull off products in the designated locations, in a timely manner. </li><li>Rotate existing inventory, tagging and cleaning location prior to placing products in location. </li><li>Coordinate with other Line Pullers to ensure swift removal of products to location. </li><li>Fill and complete orders accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Operate and pick orders with a Serti scanner. </li><li>Pick and stack all orders in such a manner as to ensure a safe and clean shipment. </li><li>Document accurately and legibly, signature and code date on pick sheets. </li><li>Carefully inspect products for code dates and cleanliness. </li><li>Load trucks/bobtails </li><li>Maintain housekeeping and pull up area at the end of the shift. </li><li>Meet departmental safety, quality and productivity goals. </li><li>Follow and enforce established policies, processes and procedures and report any violations to management for corrective action. </li><li>Accurately complete and submit assigned reports and maintain logs and other records. </li><li>Proactively interact and communicate inter and intra-departmentally to ensure consistent and efficient work flow. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>1 year warehouse operations experience preferred </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Operate Palletizer, forklifts, and pallet jacks </li><li>Basic Mathematics </li><li>Knowledge of all sections of Shipping and Cooler Department. </li></ul> <p>ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehend and apply principles of product rotation, dates, codes, and sizes. </li><li>Read, understand, and carry out instructions. </li><li>Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. </li><li>Assess and resolve problems. </li><li>Understand and comply with safety and operational policies, procedures, and processes. </li><li>Maintain excellent attendance. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION DETAILS:</p> <ul> <li>$27.48 up to $34.35 </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>.25 cents shift differential for all hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am </li><li>Paid vacations </li><li>Paid Sick Days </li><li>Pension and 401k Plan </li><li>EAP Program </li></ul> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>up to 34.35</p>
