<p>Job Title Coordinator for Business Development - Unmanned Aerial Systems Location Main Campus - Dayton, OH Job Number 05277 Department Unmanned Aerial Systems Job Category Professional Job Type Full-Time Status Regular Job Open Date 08/15/2025 Resume Review Date 08/29/2025 Closing Date 08/29/2025 Open Until Filled No Position Summary</p> <p>The Coordinator for Business Development position exists to provide sales and revenue generation support to the Chief Research Officer and the broader Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Department, which includes the National UAS Training and Certification Center. The span of control for the UAS department includes the non-academic credit functions related to UAS and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) within the College, with focuses including education and training, consulting, application development and commercialization, applied research and development, data analytics, and modeling and simulation. The UAS Office often engages with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and clients or customers. This position description does not represent in any way a contract of employment. </li></ul> <p>Principal Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and facilitate non-academic course UAS and AAM related training, custom offerings or consulting services, event registrations, and other activities with a primary focus on sales functions and customer engagement </li><li>Collaborate with UAS department leadership, broader staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to organize and schedule revenue generating open enrollment and event offerings </li><li>Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Research Officer and UAS department leadership </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or bachelor's degree in related field preferred </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field; background in aviation with traditional aircraft, AAM, and UAS related experience preferred </li><li>Current Remote Pilot Certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) preferred </li><li>U.S. Citizenship preferred </li><li>U.S. Passport preferred </li><li>Proven experience planning/project management experience preferred </li><li>Strong personnel management, team building, team interaction, and conflict resolution skills required </li><li>Strong organizational and analytical skills required </li><li>Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and partners required </li><li>Strong PC skills, including standard office tools and industry specific software packages required </li><li>Ability to use appropriate tools to manage sales and registration processes required </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication and listening skills, including experience in </li></ul> <p>preparing and delivering proposals, reports and presentations required</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships required </li></ul>
