<p>Overview</p> <p>Respiratory Care Practitioner - RCP (CRT)</p> <p>Earn $450 - $490.80 gross pay per shift | Night Shift | Per DiemIncludes base pay of $37.50 - $40.90/hr + opportunities for shift differentials</p> <p>Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory TherapyJob Type: Per Diem | Non-Exempt | Rotating holidays & weekends</p> <p>Location: Evanston, Illinois</p> <p>Interview within 24 - 48 hours | Fast Offer Process Work in a high-acuity, critical care environment and advanced respiratory cases</p> <p>Competitive pay + shift differentials</p> <p>Career growth within a large healthcare system</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>In the absence of a supervisor, the CRT/RCP I may serve as Lead RCP, overseeing operations during their shift.</p> <ul> <li>Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders </li><li>Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management </li><li>Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis </li><li>Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments </li><li>Implement patient-specific care plans </li><li>Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately </li><li>Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor </li><li>Respond to critical care situations and emergencies </li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required 2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. 2 years experience as a RCP preferred. 4. ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current 5. NRP certificate preferred 6. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. 7. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred 8.
