<p>Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Government Engagement, this individual will provide support in the implementation and initiatives within the Office of the Vice Chancellor and across the Division of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation. Duties will include providing project coordination and management, project research, communications support, and memorandum/presentation preparation. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will serve as the primary organizer for the annual 'CUSE50 Alumni Entrepreneurship Award program.</p> <p>The Project Coordinator must be adept at creating and maintaining cross-departmental relationships, preparing information for a diverse and executive-level audience, and functioning in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience. </li><li>3 - 5 years of proven project coordination experience in and education, business, government or community organization. </li><li>Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior executives. </li><li>Experience managing or supporting high-profile events. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments. </li><li>Effective, versatile and action oriented. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across various audiences and leadership levels. </li><li>Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making ability. </li><li>Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills. </li><li>Experience designing compelling presentations and reports. </li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and to manage high-volume workloads. </li><li>Intermediate or higher research and analysis abilities. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and business process mapping and design. </li><li>Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Project Coordination:</p> <ul> <li>Under the supervision of Associate Vice President (AVP) for Strategic Initiatives and Government Engagement, conducts project coordination efforts in collaboration with divisional units and departments, as well as schools, colleges and units across the University to include project development, implementation, and reporting. </li><li>Serves as primary organizer for the annual 'CUSE50 Alumni Entrepreneurship Award program. Identifies, coordinates and develops solutions to issues/challenges that cross multiple units within Strategic Initiatives and Innovation. </li><li>Manages the flow of issues, projects, and problems requiring either near-term responses or anticipatory preparations. </li></ul> <p>Communications and Administration:</p> <ul> <li>Writes, edits, and coordinates internal and external presentations, briefings, special reports, and other materials. </li><li>Assists with Board of Trustees' material preparation and deliverables, working collaboratively with the University's Board of Trustees Office and members of the Strategic Initiatives and Innovation leadership team. </li><li>Support special projects for the Vice Chancellor and AVP for Strategic Initiatives and Government Engagement. </li></ul> <p>Research and Analysis:</p> <ul> <li>Supports and conducts research to inform decisions on initiatives within Strategic Initiatives and Innovation. </li><li>Present research findings in a clear, concise way to executive leadership. </li><li>Other Duties as Assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Not Applicable</p> <p>Tools/Equipment</p> <p>Not Applicable</p> <p>Application Instructions</p> <p>In addition to completing an online application, please attach a resume and cover letter.</p>
