<p>Overview</p> <p>Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a compassionate candidate for a Full-Time CNA serving patients and their families in JOPLIN and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate must be passionate about providing quality care and excellent service to patients and their families.</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in hospice, home health, or geriatrics preferred </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The CNA assists the patient and family in achieving physical and emotional comfort as outlined in the patient's plan of care </li><li>Provides support services under the supervision of our clinical supervisors </li><li>Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patients and their families </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Certified by the state of where services are being provided as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide. </li><li>Minimum of one year of experience in hospice, home health or geriatric care preferred (but not required for the right candidate) </li><li>Must be of high integrity including maintenance of confidential information including all patient records </li><li>Works as a team player, following directions and adhering to defined care plans </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to the hospice philosophy of care </li><li>Can successfully pass background checks </li><li>Can successfully pass background checks & drug screen </li></ul>
