Lane also specializes in tunnels, metro and railway systems, as well as airports and water and wastewater treatment plants</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Senior Field Engineer plans, prepares for and monitors activities at the construction sites.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Review plans and prepare work plans for project activities. </li><li>Review project quantities and manage project quantity book. </li><li>Assist with cost report management. </li><li>Assist with project CPM management, including regular updates. </li><li>Manage major subcontracts and input quantities into JDE & Quantity Book. </li><li>Prepare pay estimates for major subcontracts. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required. </li><li>Minimum 3 years experience in heavy civil roadway projects. </li><li>Familiar with grading, drainage, paving (asphalt and concrete), bridge construction, retaining walls, Tunnel/Dam, and all other highway construction scopes. </li><li>Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word. </li><li>Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. </li><li>Performs a variety of complicated tasks. </li><li>A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. </li></ul> <p>Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
