<p>Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Production Laborer based out of our Amite, LA plant.</p> <p>Day to Day</p> <ul> <li>Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition </li><li>Be able to operate front end loader / skid steer </li><li>Keep water pumped running to maintain fresh water to the plant </li><li>Grease and inspect the plant </li><li>Cross train to learn other plant duties </li><li>Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations. </li><li>Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance </li><li>Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators </li><li>Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li>Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance </li><li>Positive, Team-based attitude </li><li>The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required </li><li>The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy) </li><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Arcosa is proud to offer competitive benefits and programs to help you and your family meet your healthcare and retirement planning needs.
