<p>Job Title: Behavior Technician - Launch Program</p> <p>Location: Regis College, Wellesley, MA</p> <p>Program Overview:</p> <p>The Launch Program at Regis College provides vocational training and job readiness support</p> <p>for young adults aged 18-22. The program emphasizes real-world work experiences both on</p> <p>campus and at local businesses in Wellesley, helping students develop independence,</p> <p>employability skills, and professional confidence.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Behavior Technician (BT) in the Launch Program serves primarily as a job coach ,</p> <p>providing individualized support to students as they participate in on-campus and</p> <p>community-based vocational experiences. This role is critical in helping students apply</p> <p>functional skills, maintain task engagement, and build workplace independence.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>?</p> <p>Serve as a job coach for Launch Program students at Regis College and at local</p> <p>businesses in Wellesley.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Provide direct support to students in vocational settings, ensuring tasks are completed</p> <p>successfully and safely.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Implement individualized behavior support plans and promote positive behavior</p> <p>strategies during work experiences.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Model appropriate workplace behaviors and facilitate student skill development,</p> <p>including communication, time management, and task completion.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Monitor and document student progress toward vocational goals, providing feedback to</p> <p>program staff and families as appropriate.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Collaborate with program staff to adapt tasks and environments to meet student needs.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Support students in developing independence in transportation, work routines, and</p> <p>social interactions.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Attend team meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions as required.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>?</p> <p>Experience working with young adults with developmental or behavioral needs preferred.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to model appropriate workplace behavior.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.</p> <p>?</p> <p>Reliable transportation to support community-based work experiences in Wellesley.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>This position involves a combination of on-campus work at Regis College and</p> <p>community-based job sites in Wellesley.
