<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>This position will perform the functions of a skilled welder. They will work from structure plans to weld various parts.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specifications </li><li>Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate </li><li>Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary </li><li>Test the strength of each joint during and after project completion </li><li>Identify hazards, defects and needs for adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety </li><li>Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and keep work areas neat </li><li>The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.
