<p>Description of the Position:</p> <p>The Sanitation role is responsible for ensuring the facility looks neat and presentable and maintain a clean and safe work environment in and outside of the distribution center by performing all maintenance and cleaning tasks.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00am-1:30pm</p> <p>Pay Rate: 17.20</p> <p>Shift Differential:</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Clean warehouse, offices, hallways, break room, rest rooms, and other work areas. </li><li>Use approved chemicals to clean, disinfect and sanitize surfaces. </li><li>Use vacuum cleaner to maintain all carpeted areas. </li><li>Empty trash containers and transport waste to disposal area. </li><li>Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies. </li><li>Keeps all walkways clean. </li><li>Operates scrubber machine to clean warehouse floors. </li><li>May perform light maintenance. </li><li>Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance. </li><li>Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or GMP guidelines. </li><li>Maintains a clean and orderly work area. </li><li>Report any accidents or hazards immediately to supervisor. </li><li>Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. </li><li>Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education. </li><li>Experience in operating cleaning equipment </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs. </li><li>Self-motivated </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Flexible schedule a must </li><li>Positive approach to assigned tasks </li><li>Team player </li><li>Follows written and verbal instructions </li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. </li></ul>
