<p>General Ledger Accountant</p> <p>CommonSail Investment Group</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>As a member of the CSIG Accounting & Finance Team, the General Ledger Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting for our CorsoCare healthcare entities. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continual improvement.</p> <p>Main accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Actively support our culture our pillars and 1440. </li><li>Prepare monthly GL account analysis and follow up on any necessary adjustments. </li><li>Review and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies. </li><li>Perform month-end closing procedures. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of year-end audit workpapers. </li><li>Investigate and resolve open items related to monthly bank reconciliations. </li><li>Support special accounting projects and process improvements to enhance operational and financial efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Key Metrics for Success:</p> <ul> <li>Financial reporting is delivered to stakeholders accurately and timely in accordance with the monthly accounting calendar. </li><li>Proactive contributions to improving accounting workflows and process improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Driver for the position:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of consolidated accounting practices. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. </li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, vlookups). </li><li>Solid organizational and analytical skills. </li></ul>
