<p>Job Description:</p> <p>NOTICE OF VACANCY</p> <p>For the 2026-2027 School Year</p> <p>POSITION: Head Coach Boys Soccer</p> <p>LOCATION: Southington High School</p> <p>SALARY: $6,587.00 - $7,866.00 stipend</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:</p> <p>To assist in the selection and supervision of the coaching staff. To direct, supervise, and train the boys soccer team at the high school level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction and practice of skills and techniques; sportsmanship; contest preparation with applied knowledge of game concepts and strategies; purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit, have a current CPR and First Aid card, and have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and Head Injury education. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport / activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport. Ability to motivate high school student athletes.
