<p>JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES</p> <p>IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE: MOHEGAN INTERNAL CAREER SITE</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position is responsible for cleaning all floors, ceiling and walls.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Cleans various types of carpets and floors, including stone, marble, granite, tile, VCT and wood using appropriate chemicals and equipment </li><li>Responsible for the storage and handling of department supplies </li></ul> <p>Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment after use </li><li>Removes, transports and arranges office furniture, as needed </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Thorough knowledge of all carpet care, floor maintenance and heavy duty techniques and equipment </li><li>Knowledge of lifting techniques and related equipment </li></ul> <p>Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Good verbal communication skills </li><li>Proper use of chemicals and the ability to determine which chemical and equipment is appropriate for each task </li><li>Understands and practices safe cleaning procedures with emphasis on eliminating cross contamination and safety </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures </li><li>Completes EVS Training Module which includes proper use of chemicals and safety procedures </li><li>Knowledge of proper infection control and blood borne pathogens procedures and precautions </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to stand, bend and walk large areas of the casino property for extended periods of time </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
