<p>The Free Horizon Montessori School Innovation Educational Assistant understands and promotes the school's mission, vision, objectives, and policies both within and outside the immediate school community. The assistant is responsible for supporting the Innovation Lead Teacher to in providing a strong Montessori classroom/instructional program that supports the individual needs of each child in accordance with the school's mission, vision, and District and State policies. Innovation Educational Assistants must demonstrate a strong interest in and understanding of children, their needs as individual people and students, and concern for their care, well-being, development, and education.</p> <p>Qualifications: • High School graduate, at least 18 years of age, Associates degree or higher is preferred</p> <ul> <li>Pass all background checks as required by Jeffco Public Schools and the Colorado Department of Human Services Childcare Licensing regulations </li><li>Prior teaching or child care experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: 19 - 25 / hour</p> <p>Description of Community: Free Horizon Montessori, a public school serving children in preschool through 8th grade, is a richly diverse community nestled in the foothills of Golden, Colorado.
