<p>General Summary</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>With three campuses along Colorado's Front Range, Front Range Community College is the state's largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities.</p> <p>Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year universities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than 5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earning college credit without having to pay college tuition. And we were recently ranked as one of the "Top Online Colleges" in the country by Newsweek.</p> <p>One of FRCC's main goals is to offer educational excellence for everyone. We're looking to hire people who share these values-along with our commitment to student success, equity and excellence.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Under the direction of the Senior Director of Admissions, Recruitment and Orientation the Guest Student Navigator will work in collaboration with Admissions, Recruitment & Orientation in supporting students who have applied to Front Range Community College (FRCC) through the steps for guest students to enroll in the institution. This position will work with students and cover such topics as placement, registering for classes and student support services, as well as confirm student account information. This position will be responsible for welcoming guest students to the college and providing an inclusive, proactive, and supportive experience for FRCC students.</p> <p>SELECTION PROCESS: Position will remain open until filled with a priority deadline of April 24, 2026.</p> <p>Please note: You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment. Also, Front Range Community College is an E-Verify employer.</p> <p>The selection process for the Guest Student Navigator will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Consideration will be based on the completed application packaged submitted by the candidate. In your application, please include a resume and cover letter that specifically addresses how your background and experience align with requirements, qualification and responsibilities of the position. Part-time hours and schedule are somewhat variable per semester and cannot exceed 28 hours per week.</p> <p>SALARY:$24.03 hourly</p> <p>BENEFITS:Variable hour employees will have their hours measured on an annual basis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only for the following benefit period. (See: Instructor & Variable Hour Employee Benefit Information).</p> <p>Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Manages the Guest Student territory in CRM Recruit. </li><li>Records student information and conversation comments in Navigate and Banner as necessary to assist other departments in understanding what has been advised to the student. </li><li>Processes Prerequisite Override Request Forms to allow students to take their requested courses. </li><li>Assists in determining placement and entering scores into Banner. </li><li>Provides information to students via phone, email, text messages, drop-in visits and appointments about enrollment at FRCC. </li><li>Refers students to appropriate campus resources including registrar, cashier, personal counseling, etc. </li><li>Serves as informational liaison between applicants and campus departments involved in student enrollment including, Registrar, Cashier, Career Services and Academic Advising as necessary. </li><li>Collaborates with Registrar's and Academic Advising offices in changing student status and codes on students account if student applied as the wrong student type or decides to remain a student at the college after the initial semester as a guest student. </li><li>Assists guest students with the process of registering for and participating in courses including accessing eWOLF, the D2L platform, bookstore purchases, etc. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education/Training & Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>An associate degree with two (2) years of professional experience working with students in an advising, recruiting, orientation, or admissions capacity. </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree with demonstrated experience demonstrated professional experience working with students in an advising, recruiting, orientation, or admissions capacity. </li></ul> <p>AND</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and understanding of computer applications and internet usage. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education/Training & Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>One year of experience using CRM, communications, and/or student management system software. </li></ul> <p>Welcoming.
