<p>Job Title: Medical Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. This position involves a combination of in-office and remote duties, including rooming patients, updating medical records, handling voicemails from the call center, and scribing for surgeons. The role also includes preparing exam rooms between patient visits, taking patient vitals, and supporting a patient flow of 15-20 patients per doctor daily. Additionally, you will manage staff messages, process prescription refills, and handle chart scrubbing remotely.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Room patients and prepare exam rooms between visits. </li><li>Take patient vitals and handle conservative treatment documentation. </li><li>Manage incoming calls from the call center and handle voicemail messages. </li><li>Collect and manage conservative treatment records for patient appointments. </li><li>Upload and report documents into patient charts accurately. </li><li>Assist physicians with various office tasks and administrative needs. </li><li>Clean and restock exam rooms to maintain a safe and organized environment. </li><li>Assist with managing MRI denial documentation and follow-up. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of medical assisting experience. </li><li>Proficiency in patient care and medical terminology. </li><li>Experience with Epic and electronic health records. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Preferred prior MA or CMA experience in any specialty. </li><li>Phlebotomy and appointment scheduling skills are an advantage. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The environment is collaborative, with physicians seeing 15-30 patients daily. You will work closely with 8 other Medical Assistants in a supportive team setting, with opportunities for hybrid flexibility after three months.
