<p>Description</p> <p>Summary: The Family Support Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Family Support Grant for a particular region. The coordinator will receive and process intakes, gather necessary documentation to determine eligibility, and process claims for reimbursement.</p> <p>Essential abilities, duties, and responsibilities include the following.</p> <p>Program Management:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to inquiries about services </li><li>Receive and process initial and reapplications </li><li>Gather documentation to determine eligibility </li><li>Process claims for reimbursement </li></ul> <p>Administrative Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Attend both local and district quarterly meetings </li><li>Maintain records according to state guidelines </li></ul> <p>Family, Community and State Department Engagement:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in district, state, and agency leadership meetings. </li><li>Building strong relationships with families, providing support and resources, and collaborating with community partners. </li></ul> <p>Advocacy:</p> <ul> <li>Advocating for the needs of children and families within the program and the broader community. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or equivalent years of experience in working with individuals with disabilities and case management. </li><li>Excellent bookkeeping skills, ability to effectively communicate and proficient with Microsoft Office, preferred. </li><li>Willingness to travel as needed. </li></ul>
