<p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Recruitment & Onboarding</p> <ul> <li>Manage full-cycle recruitment and coordinate pre-employment steps. </li><li>Conduct and organize new hire onboarding and orientation. </li><li>Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment records. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Administration</p> <ul> <li>Act as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries. </li><li>Support open enrollment and manage benefit updates with vendors. </li><li>Maintain benefits data accuracy and assist with issue resolution. </li></ul> <p>Leave Management</p> <ul> <li>Track and process FMLA, ADA, and state leave requests. </li><li>Maintain required documentation and ensure timely follow-up. </li><li>Communicate leave status and expectations with employees. </li></ul> <p>HR Operations & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Maintain personnel files and compliance documentation in audit-ready condition. </li><li>Monitor I-9s, required postings, and acknowledgments. </li><li>Assist with payroll-related tasks such as timecard audits, corrections, and employee follow-ups. </li><li>Support internal audits and track HR training and compliance logs. </li></ul> <p>Employee Support</p> <ul> <li>Provide timely responses to day-to-day HR inquiries. </li><li>Support cross-functional initiatives in coordination with HR Manager. </li><li>Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Experience:</p> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred. </li><li>3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing. </li><li>PHR certification preferred. </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment practices. </li><li>Exceptional organization, follow-through, and task ownership. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP a plus. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li><li>Occasional walking and standing when visiting the manufacturing floor or attending meetings. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times (e.g., files, supply boxes). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
