If you're hands-on, mechanically inclined, and ready to take ownership in the field, we want you on our team.</p> <p>Competitive Pay:</p> <p>This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $30/hr. to $45/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Perform assembly/disassembly of rotating equipment, including pumps and motors </li><li>Install seals and packing, and recommend repair solutions based on equipment condition </li><li>Execute equipment start-ups and commissioning for industrial and water/wastewater systems </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, gearboxes, motors, and related equipment </li><li>Diagnose and repair basic mechanical issues to maintain reliable operation </li><li>Conduct vibration analysis, PdMA testing, and infrared (IR) testing on equipment and control panels </li><li>Troubleshoot AC and DC electrical systems and assist with installation of electrical equipment </li><li>Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings </li><li>Perform precision alignments to support equipment reliability </li><li>Work directly with customers to explain findings and recommend solutions </li><li>Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation of work performed </li><li>Collaborate with Customer Service, Shop teams, and Sales to support customer needs </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment </li><li>Respond to service calls, including occasional after-hours or emergency work </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent with strong mechanical aptitude </li><li>3-5+ years of experience in rotating equipment repair, maintenance, or field service (preferred, not required) </li><li>Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting (AC/DC) </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals </li><li>Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers </li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record </li><li>Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (non-CDL) </li><li>Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word) </li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally and respond to after-hours service calls </li><li>Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members </li><li>Bonus: Experience with vibration analysis, PdMA testing, or infrared diagnostics </li><li>Bonus: Familiarity with alignment tools and reliability best practices </li></ul> <p>Why Join OTC Industrial Technologies?</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Benefits: </li></ul> <p>Medical, dental, and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance.
