This position starts at $19.43 per hour with an additional $0.75 when passing medications.</p> <p>The Iowa Veterans Home has openings for full time Certified Medication Aides with options to work:</p> <ul> <li>3 day work week; 14-hours either 6 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. OR 3:45 p.m.-6:15 a.m.; working 1 out of 4 weekends </li><li>8-hours on evening shift (2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.); working every other weekend </li><li>10-hours on night shift (8:15 p.m. - 6:15 a.m.); working every other weekend </li><li>Weekend package shift options are available with retention payments up to $5,000 paid out over 26 pay periods. Lodging and meals available upon request. </li></ul> <p>Must be a Certified Nursing Aide with Medication Aide Certificate. </p> <p>Applicant will pass medications as indicated on MAR and perform basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet the resident care needs.
