<ul> <li>Develops and leads a technical service team to achieve best in class service (monitored by organizational key performance indicators) by building a cohesive team environment and working cross functionally to enhance performance. </li><li>Continuously improves processes, procedures, and capabilities as measured by key performance indicators of service quality and timeliness. </li><li>Ensures major and minor organizational changes are received, understood, and properly implemented by assigned team. </li><li>Manages individual and team based projects, both at the team and organizational levels. </li><li>Ensure customers see calibration and repair service as a strong positive feature of Rohde & Schwarz solutions. </li><li>Works with Product Development and Service Sales teams to ensure the Service Center is prepared for new products, product options as well as the expected service volume. </li><li>Provides quality information to development teams for the enhancement of product performance. </li><li>Maintain favorable working relationships with employees through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, and efficiency. </li><li>Appropriately delegates duties to team members, ensuring that a collective approach is taken on continuously improving the organization. </li><li>Strategically assigns stretch-tasks and goals to employees with an emphasis on personal and professional development. </li><li>Continually analyze, identify, and set expectations to motivate the team and to achieve objectives and goals through providing feedback and recognition. </li><li>Lead, promote, and facilitate continuous improvement activities while using problem solving and lean tools to drive change. </li><li>Drive the use of best production practices such as lean manufacturing, visual management, and 5S. </li><li>As part of the Service Leadership Team, continuously develops a culture of accountability both in assigned team and throughout the department. </li></ul>
