<p>The Altenheim and CarDon and Associates are now hiring an experienced LTC/SNF Unit Manager (RN or LPN). Daily and Weekly pay options and great benefits!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Unit Manager-LPN/RN at Altenheim plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care. This position is responsible for managing nursing staff, coordinating patient care plans, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Unit Manager will also engage with families and residents to address concerns and improve overall satisfaction. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Unit Manager will enhance team performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ultimately, this role is pivotal in ensuring that the facility meets its mission of providing compassionate and effective care to all residents.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. </li><li>Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents based on their specific needs. </li><li>Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being, adjusting care plans as necessary. </li><li>Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. </li><li>Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to care. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current LPN or RN license in the state of operation. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility. </li><li>Strong leadership and management skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration. </li><li>Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting. </li><li>Certification in geriatric nursing or related specialty. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include strong leadership abilities, which are essential for guiding nursing staff and fostering a positive work environment.
