Completes periodic assessments </li><li>Assists in the development, updating of care plans, and IDCP process </li><li>Gives shift report, documents on 24-hour report, processes physician orders, and assists with orientation of new employees </li><li>Participates in continuing education, staff meetings, and other required in-service training </li><li>Supports and adheres to administrative and nursing policies and procedures </li><li>Knows and is able to initiate fire and disaster plans. Recognizes and responds to client emergencies with appropriate measures </li><li>Utilizes resources, materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner </li><li>Demonstrates dependability by being punctual; maintains scheduled attendance </li><li>Supports and enforces safety and infection control policies and procedures </li><li>Conforms to facility dress code </li><li>Performs routine housekeeping duties including straightening and maintaining service areas and resident rooms </li><li>Cleans, disinfects and maintains resident care equipment as assigned </li><li>Completes all other duties as assigned by supervisor </li><li>C.A.R.E.
