A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.</p> <p>Key responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participates in the development of production schedules and recommends equipment repairs, replacements, and purchases. </li><li>Participates in daily Gemba walks. </li><li>Leads shift change meetings with furnace, dryer, evaporator, & reactor operators. </li><li>Responsible for employee training and safety program implementation. </li><li>Monitors daily production to ensure a quality product that meets company and customer objectives. </li><li>Prepares daily production reports and completes downtime reports. </li><li>Monitors sawdust and condensate inventories. </li><li>Schedules daily char shipments. </li><li>Responsible for appropriate staffing levels to meet production and quality requirements. </li><li>Updates employees' schedules in Kronos. </li><li>Responsible for helping support the SQF, Food Safety Programs, and Food Quality Programs. </li><li>May execute projects or perform other duties as required by the Division. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and skills</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience.</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions, and perform elevated work. </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule. </li><li>PFT & respirator fit test required. </li><li>Working at heights / climbing ladders. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Office and plant environment with exposure to a variety of chemicals.</p> <p>Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet environments.</p> <p>Backup</p> <p>Provided by QATM and Materials Manager.</p> <p>Compensation Data</p> <p>The pay range for this position is 64,479 - 105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
