Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.</p> <p>The Electronic Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The Electronic Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. This position will service the Columbus, Ohio area.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with customers and leads to identify product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs</p> </li><li> <p>Develops a solid understanding of company product and services offered</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates functions and utility of products or services to customers through presentations and seminars</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains detailed reports of sales activities</p> </li><li> <p>Provides periodic territory sales forecasts</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties assigned by management</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in industry sales role</p> </li><li> <p>Relevant or past industry knowledge highly desired</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong sales and negotiation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy</p> </li><li> <p>Must speak English</p> </li><li> <p>Currently have and maintain a clean driving record and valid Driver's License - travel to customer sites required</p> </li></ul> <p>#indeed</p> <p>Benefits and Perks:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent pay</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, dental, vision</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid short term disability</p> </li><li> <p>401K with employer match</p> </li><li> <p>Paid vacation and company holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Training and Career Development</p> </li><li> <p>Company vehicle (if job applicable)</p> </li></ul> <p>Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
