<p>Position: High School Lunch Aide</p> <p>Location: Middle School - Lower Cafeteria</p> <p>Type: Part Time - School Year</p> <p>Vacancies: 2</p> <p>Hours: 10:15 am to 1:45 pm (3.5 hours per day)</p> <p>Pay: $17 per hour</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervision of lunch periods </li><li>Assist in the delivery of lunches </li><li>Assure the safety of students during lunch periods both inside and outside of the school building </li><li>Assist in the clean up of the lunch areas at the end of lunch periods </li><li>Ensure the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas during and between lunch periods. </li><li>To sweep under tables between lunches. </li><li>To assist students with cleaning up spills on tables and floors. </li><li>To look for and clean spills around garbage cans and other areas that can create slip hazards. </li><li>Communicate with custodial staff for larger spills. </li><li>Replace trash cans, or provide additional supplies. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the building department </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>Experience working with children is required </li><li>Required criminal history background check </li><li>Successful candidates must be organized and patient </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Watertown Public Schools is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital/civil union status, ancestry, place of birth, age, citizenship status, veteran status, political affiliation, genetic information or disability, as defined and required by state and federal laws.
