<p>General Summary</p> <p>A System Support Technician must be a motivated, self-starting individual who is willing to prove they have what it takes to succeed as a system technician. You will be working to support the operation and maintenance of an automated material handling system.This position will provide an opportunity for the right candidates to use and learn many different technologies in a creative environment.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operation and fault correction of automated material handling equipment in a fast production environment </li><li>Troubleshoot and correct system material flow issues </li><li>Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues and escalate as appropriate </li><li>Basic upkeep of system through effective management and clearing of products, packaging, and carrier material </li><li>Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks under supervison </li><li>Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience with material handling automation in an automated warehouse is a plus </li><li>Electrical-mechanical installation work experience in an industrial environment with production or manufacturing machinery a plus </li></ul> <p>Skills & Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical skills </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Aptitude for basic computer skills </li><li>Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills </li><li>Continuous improvement mindset </li><li>Problem solving and root-cause understanding </li><li>Steady, professional approach in a high-pressure environment </li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude </li><li>Clear spoken communications skills </li><li>Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring a plus </li></ul> <p>Scheduling & Travel</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to work shifts 1st and 2nd shift - operate 7 days a week </li></ul>
