<p>About the Role:</p> <p>We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Product Sustainability to lead our efforts in integrating environmental and social responsibility throughout our product lifecycle. This role will drive sustainable innovation while ensuring business objectives are met.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Assess the organization's current sustainability performance with regards to product goals and identify and prioritize key sustainability issues. </li><li>Ensure compliance with global sustainability requirements (PPWR, California Climate Bill, JP Packaging Positive List, Canadian Federal Plastics Registry Reporting, etc) </li><li>Work closely with CSR team on the Annual report creation </li><li>Annual RSPO and Carbon accounting </li><li>Strategize our many methods of reporting on sustainability, both with internal partners as well as external reporting. </li><li>Champion a culture of sustainability through ongoing organizational communications and education. Create and implement communication strategies to publicize the company's sustainability efforts and promote broad awareness of sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally. </li><li>Offer expertise and support for initiatives to reduce company-wide resource consumption and waste generation. </li><li>Build effective partnerships with external organizations to support sustainability efforts. </li><li>Conduct sustainability-related risk assessments. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>An impeccably strong change agent and influential leader with exemplary experience and success in the areas of Quality, Customer Satisfaction Improvement & Sustainability, Continual Improvement, Process Improvement, Cost Avoidance and Optimization. </li><li>Direct experience in product sustainability with a history of proven success. </li><li>A strong communicator - strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills - able to influence at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Experience innovating within a corporation or creating and establishing successful new programs. </li><li>Creative mind and problem solver - someone who is constantly looking for opportunities to improve the initiatives of which they are a part. </li><li>Experience providing quality support to a large and diverse customer base. </li><li>Ability to lead employees to assure company goals and results are met. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's degree preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience with previous direct (hands-on) Quality Leadership experience in a supervisory role. </li><li>Knowledge of various engineering and manufacturing processes preferred. </li><li>Consistent track record in establishing deep and lasting customer and supplier relationships. </li><li>Challenges the status quo, proven track record of inspiring change and teaching/motivating individuals to develop & implement new ways of thinking and doing business. </li><li>High-level of personal accountability. </li></ul> <p>Our Benefits & Perks:</p> <p>You will be part of an engaged, inclusive, global community that values family, giving back, beauty, and sustainability.
