<ul> <li>Please note: resume is required for this position. </li></ul> <p>Pay Rate: $22.50 an hour</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Handle machine related customer issues promptly </li><li>Install, move, test, repair and maintain slot and electronic/electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems </li><li>Review, interpret and verify slot pay tables, settings and jackpots of pre-established amounts </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair slots and associated player tracking system to minimize down time and maximize profitability of the gaming operation </li><li>Independently and/or cooperatively perform advanced tasks including but not limited to RAM clears, setup and configuration of software, progressive system(s) hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting </li><li>Assist in the ongoing training and development of other team members </li><li>Maintain security of company assets </li><li>Perform assigned tasks in compliance with applicable regulations </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>Required Knowledge and Certification:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience </li><li>1 year of electronic troubleshooting or computer repair </li></ul> <p>Preferred Knowledge and Certification:</p> <ul> <li>2 year technical degree or 2 years equivalent experience </li><li>2 years mechanical and electromechanical systems experience </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Accurate and detail-oriented </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) </li><li>Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical/electronic test equipment </li><li>Proven soldering skills </li></ul> <p>Required Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene </li><li>Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner </li><li>Ability to independently or as a team complete multiple tasks in a professional manner </li><li>Ability to serve both internal and external customers </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair specialized equipment </li><li>Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities </li></ul> <p>Preferred Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams and identify electronic components </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day </li><li>Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel and stoop </li><li>Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely </li><li>Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds occasionally </li><li>Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate electronic equipment </li><li>Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions </li><li>Must have good eye hand coordination </li></ul> <p>WORKING ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Slot Technician shop, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke </li><li>Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters </li><li>Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays </li><li>Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals </li><li>High volume direct public contact </li></ul>
